Only half a mile away is the small country town of Fordingbridge, a picturesque welcoming town on the banks of the river Avon with a number of local shops and amenities as well as cafes, galleries, a museum and even a cinema.

There are amazing walking and cycling opportunities throughout the area, you could choose from hundreds of miles of tracks in the beautiful New Forest, The Avon Valley path following the course of the River Avon between Christchurch and Salisbury or miles of stunning coastline. Work up an appetite before relaxing and refuelling in our cosy bar and restaurant.

There is a wide variety of attractions in the local area including wildlife parks, theme parks, museums, shopping centres, market towns and pretty villages. Whatever your interests there are plenty of options nearby with some of the closest listed below.

New Forest Water Park – 1.5 miles

The New Forest Water Park offers a range of family friendly activities that include wakeboarding, inflatable aqua park, kayaking, SUPing & camping.

 

Breamore House & Museum – 3 miles

Breamore House is an Elizabethan manor house noted for its fine collection of paintings and furniture.

 

Rockbourne Roman Villa – 3 miles

Rockbourne Roman Villa is a Roman courtyard villa excavated and put on public display in the village of Rockbourne

 

Blashford Lakes Nature Reserve – 4.5 miles

Blashford Lakes is a 159-hectare nature reserve north of Ringwood in Hampshire.
